At CG Global, we understand that our success is defined by your success. Therefore, New Product Introduction (NPI) activity is very important to us. Our goal is a seamless transition of your prototype to the production environment, with no impact to your schedule.
Initial engagement points for NPI activity involves a collaboration between CG Global and the OEM technical teams on the electrical and mechanical design of the product. Strategies for materials, manufacturing, and testing are formulated early in the concept phase of a product development. Once your product enters volume production, CG Global ensures that your cost, quality and cycle time requirements are met.
While the benefits of early engagement are evident in improving design and process, CG Global's New Product Introduction process provides a framework that allows engagement at any point in a product's life cycle. This fosters forward thinking by providing the processes and tools that assist the team members to evaluate and resolve issues that would hinder a smooth product life cycle, early in the design phase.
Data requirements, data formats, processes, review points, milestones and deliverables are clearly defined and understood by all parties and developed into a project plan. Execution of the project plan is tracked by using standard checklists and status reports.
